Donika Ivanova
Acupuncturist and Physiotherapist
Qualifications and registration
Donika holds a BSc (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture from Middlesex University (2016) and a Master's in Chinese Herbal Medicine from the University of Westminster. She is a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). She qualified as a physiotherapist in 2026.
Donika is one of the few practitioners who brings two full clinical disciplines to her work. She trained in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture at Middlesex University in 2016, going on to complete a Master's in Chinese Herbal Medicine at the University of Westminster, and more recently qualified as a physiotherapist in 2026. Eastern medicine and Western movement science, held together in a single practitioner. It gives her a perspective on the body that most clinicians, working within a single discipline, simply don't have.
Running through both is the same conviction: that there are more ways to feel well than most people know. Donika has always been drawn to approaches that look beyond the immediate symptom, supporting balance, awareness, and long-term health rather than just providing short-term relief. For her, the most rewarding moments are when a patient discovers that a different kind of treatment, or a different understanding of how their body works, is exactly what they needed.
Outside the clinic, Donika recharges with long walks and travel. New places, new perspectives.
In Donika's own words
"In Eastern philosophy, health is harmony. I enjoy helping patients restore that balance so they can feel more at ease in their bodies."
