Reinhard Erk

Osteopath

Qualifications and registration

Reinhard holds a degree in osteopathy from The Health Science University, qualifying in 2025. He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and has completed additional training in cupping.

Reinhard qualified as an osteopath in 2025, but the motivation behind it goes back further than his training: a straightforward belief that he can help change people's lives for the better, whether that's by easing pain, supporting recovery, or simply helping someone move and feel better day to day. He trained at The Health Science University (previously University College of Osteopathy), and his approach is built on a detailed understanding of how the body works as a whole. Rather than focusing only on the spot that hurts, he looks at the bigger picture of how everything connects, since one area rarely tells the whole story. Treatment is shaped around each patient's own goals, and he combines hands-on osteopathic techniques with tailored rehab exercises to help things stick between sessions.

He treats the full range of musculoskeletal conditions, but has a particular interest in working with people who are active, whether that's training for sport, getting back on their feet after surgery, or just wanting to move more comfortably through everyday life. He's also recently completed additional training in cupping, which he's begun bringing into treatment where it's a good fit.

Outside the clinic, Reinhard is usually out running or working out, and he's a keen reader. He's also learning new languages, alongside speaking his native German.

In Reinhard's own words

"My goal is to help every person live a more joyful life, whether that's by relieving their pain or helping them reach whatever they've set out to achieve. When I can make a real difference for my patients, that has a positive effect on the people around them too."
