Naomi Nekesa
Osteopath
Qualifications and registration
Naomi holds a Master of Osteopathy (MOst) from the University College of Osteopathy, qualifying in 2024. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). She also holds qualifications in sports massage therapy, is a trained Reformer Pilates teacher, and has completed additional CPD in functional movement.
Naomi came to osteopathy the long way round, and is better for it. She was teaching yoga when her students started coming to her with injuries, and she realised she wanted to do more than modify their practice. That led her to train as a sports massage therapist, and then to the University College of Osteopathy, where she qualified in 2024. By the time she graduated, she had already spent years working with bodies in motion, and that background shows.
She works as a structural osteopath, using a blend of gentle manipulation, joint articulation, and soft tissue techniques alongside individually tailored exercise plans. Her CPD in functional movement and her qualification as a Reformer Pilates teacher feed directly into how she thinks about rehabilitation. She is interested not just in resolving pain, but in understanding the movement patterns and habits that contributed to it in the first place, and building something stronger from there.
The patients she most enjoys working with include runners, people with sports injuries, those with desk-related tension and postural problems, and women with musculoskeletal health concerns. Outside the clinic, she is probably training for a triathlon, out on a long hike, doing pottery, or planning her next trip abroad.
