Lisa Yiadom
Osteopath
Qualifications and registration
Lisa holds a degree in osteopathy from the University College of Osteopathy, now the Health Sciences University, qualifying in June 2026. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). She has also undertaken further training in visceral osteopathy and cupping.
Lisa has always been drawn to the human body and its remarkable capacity to heal itself. She wanted a way to help people that combined evidence-based methods with a more holistic view of health, and osteopathy turned out to be exactly that fit. She qualified from the University College of Osteopathy, now the Health Sciences University, in June 2026.
She treats a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, working in a way she describes as compassionate and intentional, with a strong focus on helping patients feel more at ease, both physically and mentally. She's just as interested in what happens between appointments as what happens during them, and enjoys helping patients pick up simple, effective ways to look after themselves.
She works particularly well with people who are invested in their own health and want a collaborative approach, whether they're dealing with a recent injury or a long-standing condition. She was recently inspired by a foundational workshop in visceral osteopathy and has begun bringing this thinking into her practice. She's also trained in cupping, which she brings into treatment where it's a good fit.
Lisa is also a qualified yoga teacher, aromatherapist and massage therapist, which all feed into how she thinks about the body as a whole. Outside the clinic, she bakes, goes bird-watching, and is a keen Lindy hop dancer. She's also never far from a cup of tea.
In Lisa's own words
"Whilst we are not solely our bodies, our physicality undoubtedly influences our quality of life. I am motivated to help people feel more at ease in their bodies and, consequently, their minds. I am not here to cure anyone, but rather to facilitate each patient's intrinsic healing abilities, which is a real privilege."
