Rahmah Patel

Osteopath

Qualifications and registration

Rahmah holds a Master's degree in Osteopathy from the UCO School of Osteopathy at Health Sciences University (2026) and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). During her studies she also qualified as a Level 3 sports massage therapist with ProActive (2024).

Rahmah's path into osteopathy began somewhere personal: watching family members and close friends find relief through osteopathic care. That experience planted the seed. She began her osteopathy training at the UCO School of Osteopathy at Health Sciences University, and during her studies qualified as a Level 3 sports massage therapist with ProActive in 2024, before completing her Master's in July 2026. Her massage background isn't a detour. It gives her a tactile, hands-on foundation that informs everything she does in the treatment room, and a real feel for how the body responds to hands-on work.

Rahmah works as a general osteopath, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Her approach is curiosity-driven and education-led: she works from root causes rather than symptoms in isolation, combining hands-on treatment with guidance on movement, lifestyle, and self-management. During her training she developed a strong grounding in fascial and visceral techniques, pain modulation, and lymphatic drainage, which adds depth to how she works with the body as a whole. She has a particular interest in hypermobility and EDS, jaw pain and TMJ dysfunction, women's health, and supporting performers such as dancers and musicians whose bodies are central to their work. Across all of these, the common thread is patients who want to understand what is happening, not just be treated.

Outside the clinic, Rahmah is a devoted music fan, especially jazz and RnB, and she's often found at a gig somewhere in London's scene. She stays active through yoga, cycling, and hiking, and any excuse to cook or bake for the people she loves is one she'll gladly take. Rahmah also speaks Spanish and has a working knowledge of French.

A practitioner’s hands are gently placed, with the fingers and thumbs together, across his forehead and temple area. The patient rests on a textured towel, and the scene is brightly lit, highlighting the details of his skin and curly hair.

What Rahmah can help with

In Rahmah's own words

"True healing begins when a person understands their own body. My role isn't just to treat, it's to educate, empower, and walk alongside my patients as they reclaim ease, confidence, and lasting change."
