Mollie Tappenden

Osteopath M.Ost (Distinction)

Qualifications and registration

M.Ost with Distinction, University College of Osteopathy (2022). Also qualified as a mat Pilates instructor (2017), which directly informs the rehabilitation and movement advice she offers in clinic. Certified Mummy MOT practitioner. Registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).

Mollie first encountered osteopathy as a patient. She was treated as a teenager and came away quietly fascinated, not just by feeling better, but by what had actually happened. That curiosity eventually led her to University College of Osteopathy, where she qualified in 2022 with a distinction.

She treats a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, from neck and back pain to headaches, shoulder problems, and general aches that build up over time. Over the years she has developed a particular interest in pre and postnatal care and women's health more broadly. She is a certified Mummy MOT practitioner, which gives her a specialist framework for assessing and treating the core, diaphragm, pelvis, and surrounding structures in the months after birth. She also integrates cranial osteopathy throughout her work, adding a gentler, more holistic dimension alongside her structural approach.

Away from the clinic, Mollie is rarely sitting still. Running, snowboarding, tennis, padel, trekking: if it involves moving, she is probably trying it. She qualified as a mat Pilates instructor in 2017 and while she does not teach classes, that knowledge shapes the exercise and rehabilitation advice she gives her patients every day. She loves to travel and is just as happy exploring somewhere new as she is socialising back in Brixton.

An extreme close-up view focusing on a man's face and head as he receives a cranial-sacral treatment. His eyes are closed, and his expression is serene. A practitioner’s hands are gently placed, with the fingers and thumbs together, across his forehead and temple area. The patient rests on a textured towel, and the scene is brightly lit, highlighting the details of his skin and curly hair.
