Nigel Gilderson

Massage Therapist. Federation of Holistic Therapists

Nigel began his journey as a P.E. teacher and tennis coach, where his fascination with the body’s biomechanics first took root. This curiosity deepened through years of yoga and tai chi practice, shaping his unique approach to movement and bodywork.

As the founder and director of Brockwell Lido Yoga for over 20 years, Nigel has not only led countless classes but also trained many local teachers through the Amrita School of Yoga. His guiding principle? Achieving the best results with minimal effort—a philosophy that’s at the heart of his work.

Nigel’s experience spans holistic massage, Thai/yoga massage therapies, and working in corporate well-being programmes, where he’s supported teams in managing stress and promoting balance. More recently, his MA studies in Dance Movement Psychotherapy have explored the powerful connection between the mind and body—how our physical and emotional states influence each other and how we engage with the world around us.

Registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists, Nigel brings a wealth of knowledge, care, and insight to every session, helping clients move better, feel better, and live better.
