Dahnen Murdanaigum

Sports Massage and Reflexologist BTEC ITEC APTI SMA

Dahnen’s journey as a bodyworker began in 2004, but it was after earning his BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Sports Massage a few years later that his passion truly took off. Since then, he has continually expanded his knowledge through ongoing training and self-study, enabling him to treat an ever-wider range of musculoskeletal issues.

While sports massage is often associated with athletes and fitness enthusiasts, Dahnen emphasizes that it’s just as beneficial for those leading busy, stressful lives.

Many of his clients seek sports massage to manage pain or tension stemming from their jobs or lifestyles, as well as for injury prevention or performance enhancement.

Dahnen takes a gentle, informed approach to sports massage, moving away from the misconception that it must be painful. While some discomfort may occasionally occur, his goal is for clients to leave feeling relaxed, not like they’ve gone ten rounds with a heavyweight boxer!

His treatments incorporate specialized techniques such as Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, joint mobilization, and stretching. Depending on each client’s needs, physical assessments and exercise therapy may also be included as part of their care.

In addition to his clinic work, Dahnen is passionate about teaching. Over the years, he has trained many new sports massage therapists and run his own workshops, sharing his knowledge and skills with others.

Whether you’re dealing with chronic back pain, stiff joints, nerve pain, a recurring injury, or just an aching body, Dahnen encourages you not to wait—book a session and start your journey to feeling better today.

Dahnen is also highly experienced in reflexology.
