Philippa Summers BAcC

Member of the British Acupuncture Council

"I love the hands on approach of practicing acupuncture with tuina massage, which enhances both diagnosis and treatment, enabling me to give you what I hope is always a nurturing and effective session".

Philippa has particular experience of treating neck, back and shoulder pain and other muscle and joint problems but also spends more than half her time treating people for a much broader range of conditions.

She works closely with a network of acupuncturists and other health professionals, including counselors, osteopaths and physiotherapists. They are able to review and discuss more complex cases together, sharing their expertise to give you best possible treatment.

Philippa has been practicing acupuncture since 1997 after graduating from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. She has a degree in Microbiology with Physiology and Biochemistry and a diploma in Tuina massage. Her skills are kept up to date with regular internships, courses and workshops.

Philippa is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council, the main professional body that oversees acupuncture practice in the UK, and adheres to their rigorous standards for practice.

She also works at The Queen’s Club in Baron’s Court and at the NHS Gateway Clinic. For more information or to book an appointment please visit her website at www.psacupuncture.co.uk or call her directly on 07941 674792.
