Marcus James BAcC LicAc

Marcus studied Image Science at the University of Westminster, going on to train for his Masters degree at the University of Wales College of Medicine, before embarking upon a career in medical imaging. He held a senior position in a busy teaching hospital for many years, managing clinics and establishing pioneering diagnostic techniques in the fields of Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Ophthalmology.

Outside of the NHS Marcus was always drawn to healing, and worked within healing circles in the UK and in India. He travelled widely, and experienced many different perspectives, before returning to study acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. There he studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element philosophies, graduating with his Licentiate, and a degree in acupuncture.

He now uses both styles of acupuncture in his practice, designing each individual treatment to suit the patient, and he has developed a speciality within the field of fertility.
