Jennifer Ratnayake BSc (Hons) TCM:Acupuncture

Jennifer trained at the University of Westminster in London on the first degree of its kind in Europe. The course taught both Western and Traditional Chinese disease theory, thus allowing qualified practitioners to communicate more effectively with both GP's and patients, whilst enabling them to look at the causes and treatment of disease from different perspectives. She qualified in 2000. She has since completed training in facial rejuvenation (cosmetic) acupuncture.
Jennifer works in private practice here at the Brixton Therapy Centre and also at Float in Notting Hill along with regular work for several drug rehabilitation organizations.
She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council which maintains common standards of education, ethics, discipline and practice to ensure the health and safety of the public at all times. Members are covered by Medical Malpractice and Public/Products liability insurance.
