Andy Jacques
Andy Jacques became a Bowen therapist after being inspired by the course of treatments that worked for him after injuring his back during his work as a gym instructor. He attempted many different approaches in order to relieve the pain he was suffering, mainly all complimentary, and to some extent they helped alleviate the discomfort. However, it was not until he tried the Bowen technique that the results improved significantly. After just two Bowen sessions, the chronic pain, which had been present for almost a year, subsided and eventually disappeared to leave Andy wonderfully enthused at this particular therapy. To this date the pain has not returned.
Following his experiences with the Bowen technique, Andy Jacques became so amazed with the results, he decided to alter his career path and become a Bowen Practitioner. He qualified as a professional in his field in 2004.
In his spare time, Andy is also a session bass guitarist. At one particular stage, he suffered with RSI, which has now also disappeared with the help of Bowen. He has had similar such successes treating fellow musicians complaining of the same symptoms.
